I was hoping someone could post a fix to make it so Groovatron NV works as soon as you get out of vault 101 or something, I'm not anywhere near experienced with coding, scripting or using FNVedit so I would be lost and confused doing it on my own.

I have been using Dewkey's TTW Groovatron patch with some success...I receive the gun immediately but am not able to teleport until I reach NV. Really thought I had found the cure for cancer by just converting original FO3 Groovtron to TTW, everything looked great until game loaded and my FPS dropped to 0, after waiting awhile the first pop up menu appeared telling me I now had the Groovatron, was amazingly able to move cursor to hit "ok" but fps remained stuck at 0, hit x to open teleport menu and fps returned to 60 and ability to freely move cursor returned but the pop up menu was invisible. As the Groovatron Status House is a big part of my game I guess I wont be able to start a completely new game as I have been wanting to do for quiet awhile now, maybe I will try the start in NV option as I have always been curious as to how that works...maybe I am hit with a reverse ageing gun and then reborn?
