I'm going to back off Vurts and let someone else take it. I have too much other stuff to do and Vurt's as well as other things are getting neglected. Hopefully Enneract will take it up as he was already working on it.


WMX and the patches for it are well underway and should be completed in the next couple of weeks.

I've got the Vurt's conversion under way. Mostly just doing the installer at this point.



A caveat, which might render mine ineligible for the bounty; Vurt's for FNV is broken. It appears that he ran in to the same LOD issue that we did, and solved it by removing tree LODs. LOD meshes for his added trees are probably not available, so I don't think this is something that I can actually fix. I personally solve this issue by using the 'lite' version of of Vurt's for FNV, which does not add additional trees, but using either of the versions with a plugin file will result in trees that 'pop in'.

A note about vurts nv, if you use the msaa patch it fixes the LOD issues where things keep lod even up close, at least for me. I'm not entirely sure what he did there, but I never noticed any pop-in with it. Perhaps examining these files will give some insight into what's going on. Tricky told me the meshes are basically 2D ones, so maybe they wouldn't be too difficult to create. Perhaps he can chime in here and make some suggestion.


Chuck sent Vurt a message asking for the meshes, but never got a reply.

I obviously can't make any claims here,  but I'd thought I'd give thermador thumbs up/kudos yes for posting up these bounties for these excellent mods. I don't get on the site as often now (college), but the improvements I find each time I visit are astounding and tbh, really professional. KEEP AT IT PEOPLE! I'll just stay here in the corner and test for bugs cool
