Freezes on start up screen

Post by KeUrah » Thu May 04, 2017 6:38 pm

Load Order: https://pastebin.com/8UrjP0fD

Install log: https://pastebin.com/axsnvdip

I also have NVAC installed, i am running this from my secondary HDD, I am using FOMOD 14.11.12 (the one linked on the install page), I had to do a manual instal of the main TTW file.

Both NV and 3 are complete editions off of steam

The Freeze occurs during the transition from the legal information screen to the Bethesda Logo screen, but the music still continues

I have already tried deactivating all mods aside from TTW

sys specs

Win 7 home premium sp 1 64-bit

AMD FX-4130 quad core

Manually install how.

Did you make the required ini edits.

Post a load order.

Get TTW working without mods first so you can figure out what causes problems.

Just to make sure, did you

Just to make sure, did you install TTW on a vanilla FNV install? What I mean is if you had any mods/remains of mods in your Data folder before you installed TTW.

Some mods and loose files from older mods being in the Data folder can still cause problems even if they are not activated or even showing on the mod manager.

Also if you installed mods in your FNV using a different mod manager (like NMM for example) and didn't uninstall and/or removed them (using the same mod manager you installed them with) before you installed TTW, then the game might still think they are installed (sometimes even if you already removed the files manually).

The alternative might be that somehow the files for TTW got corrupted after or during running the installer (like antivirus, firewalls, UAC, etc being too paranoid), I don't remember that ever happened, but there is always a first time for everything (and my memory is really not good at all) so I never dismiss any case scenario.

Ok, something I will try will

Ok, something I will try will be to make room on my C: drive (which is an SSD which may help) for FalloutNV and see if that has anything to do with it, idk why this is being such a pain, TTW ran fine on my old laptop
