Above is my fully working load order everything seems to be working fine no crashes yet. but when i install NMC textures it freezes on the loading screen. I used Roy's clean and combine tutorial but once i actually copy the textures and meshes folders into the data folder the game crashed on the loading screen of a saved game. also i can make it all the way through vault 101 the game doesn't crash until exiting the vault. I've tried everything i can think of if someone has any suggestions ill gladly hear them out. i also forgot to mention above that when i dont have NMC textures installed i can leave the vault and travell the wastes with no problems. i have patched my exe with the 4gb patch aswell found here https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62552/?

If you have NVAC installed

If you have NVAC installed check the log and see what types of hits you might be getting; anything related to the 'stack' is going to crash fairly quickly. I had some indirect references and some 'problems' simply didn't make any sense- which makes me wonder if it's something to do with how's the game is modded or 'wrapped', an os change, or 'something else'.

Here's a log for a given load order I was testing out. It shows the different runs, how long they lasted, any hits from the specified logs (I was only showing nvac.log data) and any crash data if the game crashed. If you notice the first part about "out of memory" and quite a few sections below that which didn't show that particular messages, but were related to that very same problem. The missing master was where I noticed symlinks didn't seem to want to work for plugin files; the plugin was symlinked in the games installation folder, but the game couldn't find it.

I know some people use NVAC as a catch all to keep the game going (no matter what), but I think it's a great early warning tool of potential problems. At least for me, I think it's best used in that context.
