FMODS Error

Post by Alfie1 » Mon Mar 27, 2017 12:41 pm

I tried to install TTW and encountered an error while running FMODS.

All was going OK until I got this error message......

Using latest version of TTW - v2.9.4b

Windows 7

Steam version of Fallout New Vegas

Retail version of Fallout 3 non Steam

----------------------------------------------------------

An error occurred while installing

The execution has failed due to the bug in sevenzipsharp

Please report it to http://sevenzipsharp.codeplex.com/workitem/list.aspx

------------------------------------------------------------

That is as far as I got it all came to a halt at that point.

OK will turn it off, but I have read over at the sevenzipsharp site that this does not solve the problem but will try it.

Thanks.

No go I'm afraid, still gets part way through and errors out.

As I say if you follow the link to sevenzipsharp others are getting the same issue and not just with TTW.

Make sure you have enough

Make sure you have enough space in your HDD. Also clean up your temp folder.

If after that it still doesn't work, then you can just make a manual install. smiley

Be mindful of the fact that

Be mindful of the fact that the drive you assume is being used as the temp drive may not be the drive actually used.

If you have other drives ensure they too are larger enough to handle the task.

MO sometimes throws up this error also and the cause is always the one of the two options already offered: AV interference or low drive space.

Six drives involved in my system and all have enough space, all AV turned off.
