First off, here's my stats:
OS: Windows 10 Pro, Processor: Intel Core i5-4570, RAM: 8GB DDR3
Mod Manager: FOMM v0.14.11.12
TTW Install Log: Attached
Current Load Order: Attached
Fallout 3 Version: Old Direct2Drive copy, DLCs from GFWL.
Fallout New Vegas Version: Steam Ultimate Edition.
I have the latest NVSE installed, as well as New Vegas Stutter Remover and New Vegas Anti Crash installed.
So here's my problem: I'm having weird bugs with the quests and dialog, very early on in the game. So far three things have happened that have struck me as particularly odd. If I have other similar things happen, and I have the sneaking suspicion I might, I will also post them.
1. During Moira's Wasteland Survival Guide quest: When I first started the quest, I had enough Science skill to tell her about radiation instead of having to go out and get irradiated. I did so, and then took the "go to the grocery store and scavenge for food/medicine" part of the quest. Then, after I left the dialog with her, it acted like I'd come back to her irradiated and asked her to help me, the game faded to black and she made some sort of comment (I forget what she said exactly, sorry, I know I'm a crap bug reporter) indicating she thought she'd just healed my radiation. My radiation level stayed the same.
2. Again, during Moira's Wasteland Survival Guide quest: When I started the second part of the quest, where one of the subquests is to get injured and then report back to her, I first took the subquest about hitting molerats... and then as soon as I left the dialog, without me having even clicked the topic about getting injured for her, she made a comment about me being really hurt and there was a fade to black again as though she was healing me. Again, I was not actually healed. I was later able to complete the "get injured" part of the quest the normal way.
3. On the unmarked quest Grady's Package, where Lug-Nut confronts you after you steal his naughty sleepwear, I was given the Terrifying Presence option despite not having this perk at all. Upon clicking it, he said something about "wrong answer" and then attacked me but did not actually appear to properly go hostile.
In general it feels like a lot of quest scripting is just kind of... broken. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, or if these are just known issues, or what. I'm hoping I can properly play through the Fallout 3 portion without more important things going wrong. If I have further issues I'm going to take proper screenshots and such.
