Installation Problems

Post by stu_Pendas » Sun Jan 28, 2018 11:19 pm

I have e checked this site and have not found a solution to this problem I am having. So, everything up to this point I have done correctly. TTW fomods were succsesfully installed, I have the fomods and they are sitting in FOMM. I click package manager and the second window opens up and I click the main files to start intsalling. I am aware of the (not responding) issue and I know I am supposed to let FOMM take its time to install the mod. After a while I get two prompts to let TTW overwrite some files. The first propt is to overwrite files that already exist. I click "yes to all", because I assume that TTW knows what its doing. The second prompt is to just overwrite files. I do the same thing. Immediately afterwards I get a error message telling me:

"An exception occured. The mod may not have been activated completely. Check D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas\Install Info\ScriptException.txt for full details."

I have no Idea what this means so I follow what it tells me. The txt file is this:  ystem.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at Script.GetPluginIndex(String pluginName)    at Script.OnActivate()    --- End of inner exception stack trace ---    at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethod(Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, Boolean constructor)    at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.UnsafeInvokeInternal(Object obj, Object[] parameters, Object[] arguments)    at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture)    at Fomm.PackageManager.ScriptCompiler.Execute(String script, ModInstaller p_midInstaller)   System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.    at Script.GetPluginIndex(String pluginName)    at Script.OnActivate()

I am now even more confused, no matter what I do, say yes or no to the overwrite prompts this error message appears. I would love to play TTW but because of this I cant even install it. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.
