Citadel is under the map

Post by WolfX32 » Wed Sep 02, 2015 5:13 pm

Hello, I'm fairly new here but I've encountered a problem in the mod.

I was playing through the story when I made it to the citadel I went through the front door and was standing on what appeared to be the ground for the citadel but there were no walls and the npcs where all standing in a cluster in front of me when i walked to the edge of the rendered land and looked down I saw the citadel walls way under the map.

I'm not sure if this has happened to anyone else or if there's even a fix for it. I did search the forums and saw that this issue was fixed in an earlier version so I figured that I would make a thread and see if I can get some help.

I'm seriously considering starting to ban people who post this problem without even so much as searching the website for the fix that I created, I stickied into the Nskies thread, and the team have been telling people about ever since. I can't make that guy patch his mod, and I can't come to your house and install the fix for you. Please try to help yourself before expecting everyone else to, it's common courtesy.

@WolfX32 Wolf, not providing

@WolfX32 Wolf, not providing a load order is a problem, how can anyone reasonably expect to help you with a problem unless you provide your load order? It should be noted that the sticky in this very forum lists one needs to provide that to receive help here. Technically (since TJ has likely mind read the issue) if your using mods with your TTW game the "Mod troubleshooting" forum would be a better place to post these kinds of problems.

While not explicitly said and most do post here irregardless, this forum is for direct problems in TTW and it's addon plugins. Adding any mods on top of that, one should post in mod troubleshooting. Since in almost all cases it's a mod conflict rather then a true TTW problem.

@TJ I understand your fustration TJ, which is exactly why I talk up RWLE anytime anyone suggests Nevada Skies, Camo and Roy actually go and fix the problems in RWLE when they find/have them reported. Not to mention that RWLE is much less resource intensive on playing the game, which is the real reason I always suggest it. :)

The fix is mentioned on our FAQ in two places, and one of those places is a section created just for that problem:

While you're right that a load order is "required", there was no one that saw this message that didn't know EXACTLY what was causing it by the title alone.
