Starting in New Vegas [YES I READ THE FAQ]

Post by Perion123 » Wed Aug 19, 2015 4:37 am

This is my first post here, sorry to bother you all.

I just installed the tale of two wastelands mod and the game plays the New Vegas opening, THEN the fallout 3 opening, and then finally starts me at Doc Mitchell's house. I'm aware this is a common bug, BUT I DID CONFIGURE the INI files just the way the FAQ said to and I'm still having the issue.

I'm using a fresh install of Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3- Game of the year edition, and the latest version of mod organizer. I grabbed the main file folder and the optional file folder, then dropped them in the mod organizer mod folder. They're both enabled. My current load order is as follows:

# This file was automatically generated by Mod Organizer.

FalloutNV.esm

DeadMoney.esm

HonestHearts.esm

OldWorldBlues.esm

LonesomeRoad.esm

GunRunnersArsenal.esm

TribalPack.esm

MercenaryPack.esm

ClassicPack.esm

CaravanPack.esm

Fallout3.esm

Anchorage.esm

ThePitt.esm

BrokenSteel.esm

PointLookout.esm

Zeta.esm

TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm

These are my computer's Specs:

Intel I7 4770k

Radeon R9 290

Windows 10 Pro

8GB of ram

In addition, I've attached the install log and both the fallout.ini and the falloutprefs.ini.

If anyone could help me, it would be most appreciated.

Since you are using Mod Organizer, did you make the above ini changes in the Mod Organizer>Profiles>Default or whatever you are using to load the game and not in Documents>My Games>falloutnv?
