Now that that's out of the way, the issue.

I was playing the Fallout 3 side (Level 20, doing loads of exploring and sidequests) and the game crashed as I was fast travelling. No big deal, had this issue before. Launched through FOMM v0.14.11.12 as usual. It crashed on start up. And it keeps doing that. I don't even get to the copyright notice screen.

This has been going on for 40 mins (as of typing). Any suggestions or am I SOOL?

Yep.

Literally most of the games I own on Steam (even a lagged-to-hell GTA V) can run.

Try validating your files.

Try validating your files. You should back up your .ini files first.

If you ran the game from the default launcher, it will also reset your ini's, so it's a good idea not to do that. Or if you do, you need to make the ini changes to fallout_default.ini in the games root folder.

I only just revalidated and changed the .ini files the other day when I was loading into Vegas instead of Vault 101.
