TTW Step 1 (run as admin) not working.

Post by Warden » Sun Jul 05, 2015 4:24 pm

  • Windows 7, Intel i7 2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz, 8GB Ram

  • NMM + FMM

  • Sadly, I do not have a log as my issue is not allowing me to get that far.

  • I have several mods waiting to activate but are disabled

  • I download TWW 2.9.4b and when I unpack (7zip) and go to Run as Adminstrator I get a loading and a nothing OR I get that is was not installed correctly.

  • I have been searching the forums for answers, but none that I can truly find or have been helpful.

Have you tried disabling any anti-virus software that you might have running?

There's something wrong with your .net install or your antivirus products are far too aggressive.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled .net several times, and Malwarebytes does not do any sort of popup when I download, open, or run the .exe.

I never had such an issue when I used this last year, its quite depressing (not you guys or TTW just overall)

Have you really, really disabled Malwarebytes or are you just figuring that since it doesn't bring up a notification when running the installer it's not interfering with it?
