New game starts in NV when it should be vault 101

Post by Tom1234 » Sun Jun 21, 2015 3:25 pm

I'm running Windows 8.1 pro (x64) with an AMD FX 6350, clcoked at 3.9Ghz, a GTX 650 2GB at 1058 MHz, 16gb of ram, and running TTW on a HDD. I am using Mod Organizer 1.2.18, and the vanilla builds of FO3 GOTY and FO:NV Ultimate edition. I am using the newest build of TTW as of the 21st of June 2015, and  the game just continues to begin at Doc Mitchells. I have read the FAQ's saying to change the ini files and I have, but that doesn't work. My load orfer looks like this. http://i.imgur.com/G21wjZq.jpg Is there anything I can do other than a clean re-install to get the mod working properly?

Mod Organizer doesn't use the default ini located in the my games folder.

The installer should have created an ini for you to use. I've attached my copy of that ini to make your life easier. It goes in: "your mod organizer directory/mods/Tale of Two Wastelands/INI Tweaks"

Hey, thank you for the reply :)

I already have that file in the TTW folder. Isn't this just the value's that you have to change the Fallout prefs.ini and such to? I have already tried doing this, and the game still loads into New Vegas

In Mod organizer be in the profile you want to use. Go up to the top and in tools click "INI editor" (Make sure your MO folder isn't read only). Make the changes to THAT Fallout and FalloutPrefs.ini (Not the one in the vanilla directory). Unless you copy profiles you will have to do this for every profile you start fresh, since MO stores different INIs for each profile you create in its own folders. They've really improved the usefulness of MO with Fallout, so I've always used it over other installers. Hope this helped
