Real quick before I get started I'd like to say I'm really impressed with this website/forum and its members. The work you've all done is nothing short of a miracle, and everyone seems so helpful. I've browsed a lot of forums for a lot of games and this one is without a doubt up there in quality.

Back to my problem, I like every other fan of the series have a newfound kick to play the games since the announcement of Fallout 4. I can't believe I haven't found this mod/merge/overhaul beforehand, but it's spectacular. Or at least it looks that way. I wouldn't know because I can't get it to work. I followed the installation instructions and got everything set up according to the guide, and as stated in the title my copy of both games are legit through Steam http://i.imgur.com/AsKu62d.png?1. I've been modding Bethesda games for awhile but I wouldn't consider myself an expert on the matter; I'm fairly experienced but I wouldn't put a simple oversight on my part out of the question. The only thing that really comes to mind is the fact that my Fallout 3 was pretty heavily modded when I went through the process of TTW'ing my shit. My Fallout New Vegas on the other hand was a clean install. Here's a pretty dumb mistake on my part, before even testing to see if just the basic install of TTW even worked I began modding New Vegas like crazy. Though I was pretty careful and thorough and made sure to apply all TTW compatibility patches and follow all guides provided here on the site for the mods I've installed. Here's the specific error that I'm getting: Application load error 3:0000065432

Here's my load order.

Total active plugins: 56

Total plugins: 57 [/collapsed] One small note though I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant to the problem I'm having. The guide available here on the site for making "T6M Equipment Replacer" compatible/fixing it told me to use the plug in they offered and to delete the original ones from the mod. The mod comes with like 5 esps/esm, so I wasn't sure if I was to delete all 5 and just use the one offered or what. Either way it's irrelevant to my current problem because I've tried it both ways in an attempt to troubleshoot the CTD application error I'm having and what you see now is simply my most recent attempt that I haven't cleaned up partially because I'm still slightly confused about which esps/esms I'm supposed to keep for that specific mod/comp. patch.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful at all, like I said I'm no expert, but here's my package manager as well http://i.imgur.com/R3rxAt4.png.

And my specs (I know I know, I'm hoping to upgrade soon):

Alright I think that's about all the information I can think to give. If you need anything else please ask, and thanks a lot for any help.

Update: When I try to start

Post by Mujar » Sun Jun 14, 2015 7:05 pm

Update: When I try to start the game through Steam I get Error code 51, and when I try to start the game through FOMM/NVSE, I get Application load error 3:0000065432.

I've tried restarting my computer

Disabling all mods with FOMM

Disabling many start up programs that may or may not interfere with Steam

Disabling anything I had running that may or may not interfere with Steam

Uninstalling my anti-virus

Verifying integrity of Fallout 3 via Steam

Deleting the ini. file

--------------------------------------------------

My next step would be to completely uninstall and reinstall Fallout 3 and Fallout NV and hope for the best second time around. If I were to do this, could I reinstall all my mods via FOMM or would I have to go and redownload everything as well? Or does anyone have any ideas as to what I should do?

Have you tried doing a new

Have you tried doing a new clean install of FO3 without any mods? Also have you validated both games via steam? I know you said you did for FO3 but how about FONV?

I would start with removing

I would start with removing the pirated copy of NV from your PC. The steam pic is pretty much meaningless. The steam version of the NV exe can't be simply patched with LAA as you admitted in chat. So it's clear that you use a pirated copy.

This is the only advice you get here.

No I only validated F03, I

No I only validated FO3, I was hesitant to use it on FNV because I don't know if it can revert any minor changes made by mods that are required for them to work. I've uninstalled both games and I'm in the process of downloading FO3 right now and once FNV is finished then I'll try again. I'll update this sometime tonight probably to either report it working or ask for further help.

Gunna be pretty hard to start

Post by Mujar » Mon Jun 15, 2015 1:18 am

Gunna be pretty hard to start there since I don't have a pirated copy of any of Bethesda's games. What's meaningless is you saying that since my game is getting an immediate error on start up I must be using a pirated copy of the game, there's just no other way. Well then for some reason my situation is the exception. The Steam picture is a picture of my personal Steam account, and I've paid for Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Skyrim twice. Once for console back in the day when they were released, and once again a couple years back when I started playing mostly on PC. I'm not sure if there's a way I can definitively prove this to you, but if there is tell me, I'll gladly do it.

Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas have been completely uninstalled and reinstalled and I'm going to try this again with a couple small tweaks from my original process and test more often to hopefully catch the problem if it comes up again.

Application load error 3

Post by RoyBatty » Mon Jun 15, 2015 7:32 am

Application load error 3:0000065432

This is caused by trying to LAA patch the exe, Steam is telling you it failed it's envelope check.

FNV4GB was created to get around this limitation.

Like Sesom said if you made

Post by Risewild » Mon Jun 15, 2015 11:55 am

Like Sesom said if you made the FNV.exe LAA and the game worked it had to be a pirated version (he didn't said you had a pirated version because of the crash but because you mentioned you had made the fallout new vegas exe LAA, which only works if your game is pirated), but then...

... Like Roy said the error you're getting is from trying to make the FNV.exe LAA and you using the legit steam version.

So revert the exe to not be LAA and use the FNV4GB thing and you should be set to go.
