You find the item/npc/whatever IDs on the wikia pages. You also get a picture, description, and a lot more.

You can't find "mod items" on the wikia/gamepedia though, which is what @Nostalgia is talking about in the last post.

Well...I'm blind I guess. Been working on things and hard to focus some times. But, thanks.

Ah, I was referring back to the original "what is the Firelance ID?" question. As long as it's official, it'll be in the wikia pages. If it's part of a mod, it's easiest to see the ID using xEdit.

Actually, the original

Actually, the original question was "was this somehow removed in TTW". But I think I know how I goofed, because I successfully added it the other day. I think I had hit either A or 0 multiple times; have to be very careful, since most of the console ui is off the screen...

If your console text starts offscreen, that means you're not playing the game with a 4:3 resolution. To fix it go to your Fallout.ini in Documents\My Games\FalloutNV. Find the:

iConsoleTextXPos=30

Change the 30 (or whatever value your ini has) to something like 200. Save the changes to the .ini file and see if that worked.

If you try that and after playing the game again, your .ini value is back to 30 (or whatever value it was originally), you need to also change it in the FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout_Default.ini.

If you're using MO (Mod Organizer), you have to change the setting in the MO ini file(s) instead.
