Main menu not working

Post by TonalArchitect » Sun Nov 08, 2015 12:02 am

I've got the steam goty edition of FO3, and the steam ultimate edition FNV.

I don't actually remember where I did the TTW install. I think I did it in my /Games directory, and it seemed to run fine.

I'm using the latest version of Mod Organizer.

I'm only running the core game, the latest version of TTW (and optionals), and TTWFixes 2.2.2

When I start the game, the main menu's UI does not appear, and the game doesn't do anything other than play the music.

I've been attempting to get this working for almost a week now, but I don't really know much about mods, and haven't been able to affect any sort of change. I've tried reinstalling FNV, rebuilding TTW, rearranging the order of the mods, using a bashed patch, using a merged patch, and nothing does anything. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Can you export and attach your load order. Please edit out the LOOT nonsense from it.

Is Archive Invalidation enabled and moved up high in the bsa pane?

My load order is attached.

I don't actually know how to mess with Archive Invalidation with Mod Organizer.

Your PointLookout.esm is out

Your PointLookout.esm is out of order. move it above Zeta and see if that helps. Your trashpacks are out of order too but I don't think they matter really.

Follow the load order on the download page for all the esm's and then try loading the game again.

Yep, load order is incorrect.

Yep, load order is incorrect. The crap packs don't matter since they inject records into FalloutNV.esm

I don't use MO, so someone else will have to explain to you how to setup AI correctly in it.

I have previously had it that

I have previously had it that order, and did check again just in case. No dice.

I'll check out the guide, thanks.

I know I got it working with MO in the summer (on a different computer), I just don't recall precisely how.

I checked the guide, it didn

I checked the guide, it didn't seem to have anything useful, but, after an hour or so of fiddling, it did start to work properly. So, now I'll just try to get through the Vault, and then slowly activate mods while making sure still works.

I'm sure I can beat F03 and FNV in time for Fallout 4 :P
