Is there a way to reset enemy spawns in Indoor Cells without having to start a new game?

Well, subject topic title is pretty much it.


I know that FO4 and Skyrim have this. I think they reset, together with the whole level after 30 ingame days. But Fallout New Vegas or FO3 didnt had this, right? Im asking this because a friend is playing with Marts Mutant Mod but he didnt like the amount of enemies that spawn after many hours and decided to change it. I told him he should wait a few days for a reset of the enemy spawns, well, this only goes for the Outdoor wasteland enemies though. Indoor its still the same enemy amount, at least for the places he visited already.


Is therea way to reset it? Console commands? Mods? Without having to start a new game?

Not that I know of. You could make a small mod that sets the flags on the encounter zones to all reset to the players level and respawn. I don't know if that would work or not.

I'm not sure if this will help, but you might try adding this to your load order, loading it up in the GECK and checking the scripts (I'm guessing this mod would have them to reset the cells within game as opposed to using the console like in Skyrim), and see what functions he's calling or variables he's resetting. Might help point you in the right direction. I haven't checked this mod out (I'll put it on my list of things to test here shortly) but it looks like it sets the respawn timer for vaults which is an indoor area. How it's done/scripted might lead to insight as how to get other areas to respawn - on one file he states two seperate plugins are required to get a particular vault to respawn, if I read it correctly. This would definately be something I'm interested in also.
