Read the Manual Installation instructions on the alpha download page. Specifically the part about changing your inis.
If you followed the manual installation instructions why are you still trying to activate the FOMODs?

Follow *all* the manual installation instructions, even the part about manually installing. Forget the fomods and use the loose files.

And before you say "aw the FOMODs don't work Fix IT!", you're the second persion out of 4401 people that couldn't install the FOMODs. Yes I keep track.

I could install the fomod

Post by Postal-Dude » Mon May 25, 2015 7:41 am

I could install the fomod without any problems with Fallout Mod Manager. Most recent version.

I personally like the Fallout Mod Manager the most out of all Managers since I never had problem and it has a simple but good design. Nexus Mod Manager had sometimes small problems but I think this was mainly in earlier versions.

It can be that it needs some time to add the Fomod archive to the package manager. Took nearly 5mins for me. Installing the same. But after this it worked without problems. Maybe your created Fomod archive is broken? Or you did something wrong while creating the TTW files.

I actually use 7zip and never

I actually use 7zip and never had a problem with installation and I had to do to a new install just a few days ago since old Hard Drive went belly up on me. Past problems with FOMM, well I just uninstalled it and then reinstalled, that seemed to clear up whatever was slowing it down and making it unresponsive or glitchy. I always run as Admin whatever. The latest version was a clean install if a bit slow, just boil the kettle if that happens.
