TTW_Reputation.esp and Pack Dependencies

Post by UnimportantHero » Sat Feb 07, 2015 3:35 am

Hullo.

I believe this is the correct forum for this post. I hope so. Otherwise, you have my apologies.

I have installed the most recent update 2.7.3 (not my first version of TTW of course) and have decided to play with the optional TTW_Reputations.esp file. Unfortunately, it appears as though the file lists the following esm files as dependencies:

CaravanPack

ClassicPack

MercenaryPack

TribalPack

Obviously, the easiest solution to make the esp playable would be to spend the dollar it costs to pick up the packs. Something I am considering as I do not know how to clean dependencies from an esm myself and the instructions I have found do not seem to apply to whatever version of FNVEdit I have used. I bring it up here anyway because I know the current philosophy is that these packs should not be required to play TTW, so I am just mentioning it here in case these dependencies are something that was overlooked.

Otherwise, still enjoying TTW very much. Best way to play Fallout 3 and New Vegas, for certain.

That *should* be fixed for

That *should* be fixed for the next version. I can think of a couple of ways to remove the dependency but one requires having the packs, and the other is overly complicated for something so simple. Maybe another team member will see this and post the fixed plugin.

Awesome.

Glad to hear it is something the team is aware about.

:D

Also, thank you very much for the super quick response and a big thanks in advance if someone posts the fixed file.

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.
