Load order and curious fps drops

Post by coopmorgan » Mon May 18, 2015 7:41 pm

Hello everyone, first of all thanks for creating this awesome mod, and thanks to everyone that converted all the other mods.

I've been having some fps problems in the CP, some areas run on 60 fps while some run on 35+, i think it's due to my load order could someone check it for me and tell me if its alright?

Thanks in advance

Anything like "Better Game

Post by RoyBatty » Mon May 18, 2015 9:00 pm

Anything like "Better Game Performance" type patches will cause issues, including breaking the game and causing CTD.

Check your MMM settings, it adds a lot of creatures and the games AI routines are very CPU heavy.

If you aren't using the multicore ini tweak, I suggest doing so.

My game does the same thing

Post by GoreMaster » Tue May 19, 2015 5:48 pm

My game does the same thing after a few hours of gaming. Even to the point that "PCB" (Purge Cell Buffers) in the console doesn't do justice. Simply Save and Exit the game completely should resolve those issues. Bethesda games are notorious for Memory Leaks.

Now if you are saying after 5 mins of gaming this happens. There's obviously something wrong. A Mod conflict or something in the INI files.

Try using Fallout New Vegas Configator (Yes Confi-Gator) change somethings on there. Set the Threaded options on and the background loading on. Havok Threads to your CPU count e.g. Duo Core= 2, TriCore=3, i7=8, etc....

The Cell Buffers I would NOT change.

Lock the game at 30 FPS, then

Lock the game at 30 FPS, then you never have to worry about it. After awhile you'll never even notice it's capped at 30.

My project Dash is on Kickstarter!
