Conflicts between TTW and Millenia's WRP(Project Nevada as well?)

Post by videogamewonder » Tue Jul 01, 2014 12:08 am

Right, I am having a lot of issues with textures which I can mostly attribute to Millenia's Weapon Retexture Project, alongside one known one for Project Nevada(Home Made Rifle). Basically, it's exactly like http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/texture-issue-chinese-assault-rifle, but spread across quite a few weapons(including the CAR, for which I downloaded the fix provided above). My load order is as follows, apologies for the bad quality http://imgur.com/sXJ3boE

Not seen are WRP(of course) and NMC's textures. The weapons I have noticed the issues with are:

A3-21's Plasma Rifle(possibly non-unique variants)

Chinese Assault Rifle(possibly unique variants)

Laser Rifle(possibly it's unique variants)

Home Made Rifle(Project Nevada, possible application to all Home Made weapons)

I have used both Project Nevada and Millenia's Weapon Retexture Project with TTW and never encountered this problem. It's probably something else, would you mind posting your load order ?

You are missing the WRP

You are missing the WRP plugin for one thing.

Also why are you using 3 different skill boost mods, they are going to conflict with each other.

Excuse me for my confusion, but plugin as in "part of the load list"(as if I installed WRP using NMM) or is it an extra .esp/esm to allow better compatibility with TTW?

As for the skill boost mods... well, really no excuse for them, I'm just building up the most OP character the world has ever known, and by the time I'm level 30, I should be punching Deathclaws in the jaw like they're nothing. Come 100, even the Legendaries will bow down as I make them my bitch. I digress.

ok first of all, you should not be using "TTW Startup menu.esp" it says on the alpha download page that it is broken in the current build (2.6), second I do not think that you need the chinese assault rifle fix in this build, I am not running it at the moment and havent noticed an issue. (although that might be a coincidence on my end)

I am using the WRT and PN with TTW and havent found any issues at this point.

Probably worth checking if you have any replacers in your data folder, specifically for those weapons.. Maybe something is conflicting.

Interesting, it appears by disabling TTWFixes, almost all of the textures have been fixed aside from the Home Made Rifle. Not sure why the game chose to fix everything aside from that, but there we go!

Probably alittle late to the party, but im experiencing the same issues as listed above, i am not seeing any TTW WRP compatibility patch. i do have the fixes though, so would my best bet be to uninstall the TTW Fixes?

You probably need to install WRP after you've installed Fixes or give it priority.
