commands not working.

Walter has gone missing as usual but the game won't let me get him back!


In my load order, Fallout3.esm is 0A, so I changed the reference ID when trying to resurrect or move Walter from 00000a64 to 0A000a64, but the game keeps telling me that the 'parameter ID is invalid'


The game also does nothing when I type in the "GetLevCharacterRefs" command


Can someone please tell me what the hell is going on and how I fix it?

"script command "tlc" not found" is returned when I try to toggle noclip.

Noclip is working now thanks. Walter is the man in megaton who maintains the water treatment facility. He, along with the other citizens of megaton, frequently disappears and needs to be brought back with console commands. however in TTW the IDs of the NPCs have been changed, so none of the move or resurrect commands are working.

Their ref id's have not changed, the first two numbers are always the position in the load order the plugin is and the other 6 are always the same.


No one should be disappearing, post a load order to pastebin.com , you must have a mod that is causing the issue.

The problem is you're using his baseID, not the refID. His refID is 3b59.


Unrelated, but damn they made Walter early in dev if he's a64.

oddly enough, "holy crap that was early" was also my thought.


perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

I hate to necro this thread, but considering I was having the same problem here, I will explain this for future reference, as my problem lead me to this thread that wasnt clear in it's help, Walter's full REF ID is "00003b59", fallout 3 is in the 06 slot in my mod manager, so in this case to use walter's REF it was "06003b59"...
