Uninstall Issue, Still Playing Fallout 3's intro

Post by Chip Chipperson » Thu Jan 29, 2015 7:28 pm

I've looked and I can't find an answer, but I've uninstalled TTW, originally installed with fomod, uninstalled also with fomod, however when I try to start a new game in New Vegas, I get the intro cinematic for Fallout 3 playing afte the New Vegas Intro, I've loaded the game vanilla with nothing past the the tribal pack, loaded it up through steam and still get the fallout 3 intro, is there something I need to delete that fomod didnt?

check to make sure your .ini's got reverted to default?

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

I deleted both ini files in my games folder, ran the game from the steam and nothing even with the new default ini files in place, still getting the F3 intro after the New Vegas cinematic.

fallout default in the FNV

Post by KeltecRFB » Fri Jan 30, 2015 5:31 pm

fallout default in the FNV root folder ..

  • The files you're looking for are C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Fallout.ini andC:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\FalloutPrefs.ini

  • You may also want to make the changes in FalloutDefault.ini in the game folder as well, if you use the normal game launcher for some reason.  Using that launcher overwrites Fallout.ini with the values in FalloutDefault.ini every time it's run.

  • Make these changes:

    • sIntroMovie = Change to FNV intro movie bik
