missing meshes all around DC and NV

Post by Georg Marty » Tue Sep 01, 2015 4:08 pm

Hey,

i am having an annoying issue for which i am unable to find solution anywhere. Everything is pretty much ok, but always, after a while of gameplay (usualy after a couple loads of interior/exteriors), a ton of meshes and textures dissapear and whole interiors are covered in big red exclamation marks. The weird thing is that when i quit the game and reload, everything is perfectly fine... for a while. And it seems that any meshes, from any plugins, are randomly affected, not only ttw, but random objects, glasses, pool balls, triangles, millenia weapons, body parts on people...etc. Now all this happened quite a lot in DC, while i was using FCO and Precision collision mod. So i tried disabling it, and removing FCO seemed to solve the issue for DC. But now that i have travelled to New Vegas and started in Goodsprings, every time i enter from exterior to interior it gets all screwed up, and its even worse, a red sea. And restarting the game still solves the issue for a short while. Could it be faulty ttw installation? As i said i havent had any other issues with the game.

I have installed TTW with Mod Manager, and most mods as well (the rest manually). Any ideas what could be causing this?

I had that issue when using a large load order in conjunction with the someguy series of mods. The why I can't explain, but getting rid of the someguy series (bounties, inheritance, russell) fixed the problem for me.

Someone else might be able to give you a solution that lets you keep those mods installed but I haven't been able to figure it out on my own. :(

wow, you were right, it really was the someguy mods causing the trouble...thank you, but at the same time you made me very sad, because i am yet to play most of those mods, and i was really looking forward to it...if anybody has any ideas on how to salvage them, i would greatly appreciate it...

edit: i actually managed to narrow down the problematic mods to russel and new vegas killer, the rest of them seems to be working without problems, which is of little consolation. Thanks again
