Symptoms (What is it doing vs. What you expect it to be doing)

What it's doing:

When I take the train to New Vegas, my first attempt, the FNV intro plays, followed by the second intro (plot explanation) of people leaving the vaults and the rise of the NCR and the Legion.

When I'm taken to Doc Mitchell's house the screen is all white, and in the top right corner I can see some radio stations being picked up, along with my ticket to New Vegas being removed from inventory.

Then nothing happens, I can see nothing, I can do nothing.

What I expect it to be doing:

Letting me play the game in New Vegas.

What you have already tried?

Fresh install of TTW, from 2.6.3c to 2.7.3a, and from NMM to FOMM

Going to the Train Station in DC, board it, watching the intro, saving the game, restarting, load that save at Doc Mitchell's house, still the same.

looks like i have to go back to looking at startup menu. for now, pop open console and put in "setstage 102037 100" without quotes.
for anyone else experiencing this problem, don't use this plugin if you're not starting in vegas. it'll work fine for starting in NV though.
perms: either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

I got help from RoyBatty, and for posterity here's his advice:

Remove the startup optional by unticking the entry TTW_StartupMenu.esp from the load order list, then starting the game [in FOMM].

Then load the game before hitting the electrical switch inside the train in DC.
And that's it!
Something strange did happen though, I never activated the electrical switch, the game took me straight into FNV's intro (so I pressed the Escape key), followed by Doc Mitchell's house. Everything was fine though.
Puppetron I'm attaching a RAR file with two save files to this post for your testing if you feel it might be useful for troubleshooting (before and after travelling to NV).

i forgot to come back here and tell you there's a hotfix on the downloads page for startup menu.
