Stuck in Mothership Zeta's last main quest "This Galaxy Ain't Big Enough..."

Post by Zealot » Wed Aug 27, 2014 11:20 pm

According to the Wikia, "Sally then crawls through a duct to power down the energy gate leading to the next part of the level.

After the door is open, head down the hallway into the room with the glass floor. Enjoy the view of Earth. After a short dialog, Sally will go to open another door.".

Unfortunately, Sally never gets to open this second door, leaving me stuck in the room with the glass window on the floor.

I also get two Elliott Tercorien coming from the teleport, which might screw things up.

Screenshots and saved game in attachment.

FO3 GOTY & FNV UE from Steam.

I would very much appreciate some sort of console fix to this problem, as I can't continue playing and I've already spent many hours with this DLC to go back to a save before it. Thank you.

do you perhaps have a save thats only a little while before this point?

I seem to remember having a similar problem in this area, and that I had to talk to someone or stand in a particular place before it would continue. Open the quest log on your pip boy and see what it says to do.

Jax you can see by the Observation Deck screenshot that the quest goal is in a door beyond the big square room I'm stuck in.

In any case, here's what you asked for in attachment.

The quest goal and the objective in the quest log are not always the same, so thanks for checking.

Did you do the "Short dialog" that ends with earth being blasted by the aliens?

Is anyone available to try one of my saves and get through the part where I'm stuck? I was really hoping to continue playing... :(

Are you by chance using Coito ergo sum. Because i had the same issue at the same place you did. Well partially anyway. For me Somah wasn't actuating her dialog at that part needed for Sally to open that door. It turned out that it was CES that was conflicting because the main characters of MSZ have special dialog for that mod and if engaged at the wrong time it can cause their ai to glitch and bad things happen. I reloaded a save prior to the point with Somah i was sure was the issue and sure enough it was.

I have no idea what Coito ergo sum is. If you check the pastebin link you'll see that there's no other mod installed.

The pastebin link says there are no other mods enabled, which is not nearly the same as no other mods installed. Try uninstalling those disabled mods and see if it helps.

I doubt EVE breaks it, but it's possible.

I uninstalled EVE and there's no change.

Has anyone even played any of my saves?
