No main Menu

Post by Fuming » Mon May 12, 2014 4:52 am

So Ive been working on dowloading this all day and after having way to much frustration with the FOMOD installations i just decided to do it manually. So after spending a while getting everything set I finnaly launch the game only to find i have no menu. Luckily I had seen this was a common issue and went to the thread that already covered this. I tried everything (short of a complete clean install of everything in the hopes i could avoid that) yet i still have this issue. The strange thing is, New vegas will load normally with a menu when I have Anchorage.exm, Fallout3.esm, and all of New vegases esms, but fails to work if i add any other esm or esp. Both NV and F3 are clean installs and i dont have any other mods activated besides an ENB series.

Heres My Info (sorry if i post this wrong):

Are you using the 4GB FNV

Post by Andr0idOS » Mon May 12, 2014 6:27 am

Are you using the 4GB FNV launcher? (http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55061/?)I thought I had this problem when I first installed it, but the menu just took a long time to show up. If I launch the game through Steam, the menu takes at least 1 minute to load up, where as when I fire the game up through the 4GB launcher, everything loads just as fast as vanilla. If you're not using it already, you really should be. TTW is a big mod and seriously benefits from being able to access more than 2GB of RAM, especially if you have texture mods.

If that doesn't work, maybe verify the game cache of both games through Steam, then run the TTW installer again? Other than that I'm not really sure, man.
