Installer wont continue

Whenever i try to install TTW it gets to the point where it says extracting Fallout misc.BSA but then nothing else happens. I've left it alone for a few hours and still nothing happens. I have legal copies of both games and i have both of the C++ because i have 64-bit. Do i need to have C++ 2010 too? because i have the newer one. I also have 4.5 of .NET. Does anyone know how to fix this?

ive tried validating all the files and deleting the misc files and revalidating but neither worked

also i have the steam version of both (FO3 is goty, NV isnt but i have all the dlc)

im running windows 7 64-bit

i2500k CPU

8gb of ram

Doesn't the requirements section say that you need both 2010 and 2012?

when i try to install 2010 it tells me i have a newer version

You'll have to uninstall the newer version which doesn't have everything the installer needs. Then install the older version, then reinstall the newer version.

Mostly just the install log is still needed, throw that up and we can actually see what the installer was doing before it shat.

oh i figured it was irrelevant because it wasn't installing
