Updating Versions

Post by MarchUntoTorment » Wed Nov 12, 2014 7:11 am

Hey everyone, long time since I've been around here!

I'm looking to update my copy of TTW to the latest version, but I'm wondering if I'm going to need to reinstall NV to do so. My current version being run is 2.4 (DL'd in about March), and it would seem that the whole thing got rebuilt between then and 2.7.2 (including, at long last, reputations!).

Anyway, I'm wondering if I'd need to either reinstall NV or start up a new save file for everything to run neatly, given the fact that I'm jumping up three versions.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards,

Uninstall and delete TTW 2.4, install 2.7 and you should be good, your existing save is fine though.

How does one actually 'uninstall' TTW, by the way? I've been confused over that for a while now. Sorry if it's covered in the FAQ, I couldn't find it.

Just like uninstalling any other mod in [mod manager of choice].

Huh, didn't realise it would be that easy. Thanks!

I'm thinking I might start a new game anyway, dodge all the big issues I ran into with this playthrough and start off with a solid brace of functional mods. Perhaps clean up all the errors I've run into, which are legion. Spend a solid couple of hours in FNVedit.

Anyway, thanks, guys! Really appreciate the help.
