Enclave Glitches

Post by MarchUntoTorment » Sun May 04, 2014 3:16 am

Running into a couple of odd issues that seem to stem from my COL Enclave conversion.

The first is with the Enclave Recon armour I'm currently wearing. I've changed the AR and added a DT to it, but those changes aren't showing up in game. Curious, I went poking through the duplicates, but was met with no success; changed the DT/AR on each of them, still the same stats. No idea why the in-game version isn't changing - even used GBO to check that the base ID was the same as the one I'd changed.

The second is a rather odd issue where some textures (ones I've noticed thus far are the COL Enclave Recon Helmet and the default Enclave Mk. 1 Power Armor body) turning up pure-white, which I understand means that the textures aren't found. No idea what's wrong there, although I am inclined to fix this by simply changing the leveled lists to use COL Enclave armour, if anyone can walk me through that.

Note that the second issue has been documented on the FO3 version of COL several times, and is supposed to be fixed by enabling Archive Invalidation; however, having toggled it repeatedly in NMM, I'm still not having any luck with fixing it.

The only way a stat change

The only way a stat change (like DT/DR) wouldnt work in game is something loading later that also changes the armor.

[collapsed title=As for changing the armor]

1. Open up everything in FNVEdit

2. Find the formid of whatever you want to use as a replacement

3. Copy the formid

4. Find the Mk. 1 in the FO3 esm

5. Click the referenced by tab

6. Change every instance listed to the replacement

That said, you again have a mod messing with the entry. Otherwise it would show up normally.

Load order plz
