Game Crash upon exit

Post by The Space Pope » Sat Jul 05, 2014 8:35 pm

I hit exit game and it crashes. There are some other freezes that i can understand but why does it crash when i close? In all honesty i suppose when I'm quitting it doesn't matter but it's still a nuisance.

Specs: Windows 7, AMD FX 8720, 8gb RAM

Symptoms: Crash upon game exit, from menu or in-game

It appears to be mod-related.

It appears to be mod-related. I'm playing TTW without mods after asking to volunteer in testing the bugs, and it's no longer doing this to me.

Open the ini in notepad and look for bFastExit =  and make sure it's set to 1. The setting is in the Master section at the top of the ini file.

Of course there is. It is in the NVSR ini file in data/nvse/plugins

My computer specs are too embarrassing to reveal, but the game still runs.

I have to agree I currently have my data/nvse/plugins folder open and there are no .ini files in the folder.

Then you either don't have NVSR installed, or it's installed incorrectly. The ini file is required for NVSR to run correctly. If it isn't in the folder when NVSR runs, it will be created automatically. So if you are using NVSR, there will be an ini file there.
