When Im installing, my computer shuts down after a few of the files are created. Do I need a fresh install? I have alot of mods.

If your computer is shutting down during the install process then you probably need a new [insert failing computer component here].

Yeah overheating, bad power
Yeah overheating, bad power supply, or bad sector on your HDD would be my guess.
