Missing Building Textures? (i.e side of wall missing)

Post by Crazyshot54 » Fri May 02, 2014 11:33 am

Hey guys! Sorry if this has been posted before. I did try searching for it.

My problem is that a whole chunk of textures(i'm assuming it's textures) are missing from random points of the game in the Capital Wasteland. An example being Dukov's Place not having any corner building walls. SO, I can just walk 'inside' the building. I have a picture to show the problem.

I also saw this at the Super Duper Mart but, not as extreme. Instead the parking lot just seems to be floating a little.

Does anyone know a fix? I have tried uninstalling any texture packs and that didn't fix the problem. Thanks! I appreciate any help!

I have tried turning off the ENB in game as well as uninstalling it completely. It didn't fix it. You may be thinking it turned transparent but, it is missing entirely. I can walk through the missing part of the wall to go 'inside' it.

Thanks for the input though!

It looks like in that shot other building pieces like a mid piece of bld12 isn't being rendered either. If you don't see any red exclamation points where pieces of buildings should be then it's going to be an issue with ENB and alpha.

If there are red exclamation points then one of your .bsas might need to be rebuilt.

Unless, lastly you're using mods that would change the filepath of these static objects. Or disable them.

We're gonna need this information before attempting to help further. We need some idea of what we're dealing with.

Post by Crazyshot54 » Fri May 02, 2014 5:39 pm

I have used ENBs with TTW earlier and I did not get this problem. The problem seemed to only pop up now. I do know about the red exclamation marks meaning something is wrong with .bsas. I don't get and red exclamation marks on my screen whenever this happens. That is why I was wondering if this question/problem was asked earlier.

I think it might be about the filepaths you mentioned. Do you know any ways to checkout the filepaths?

Edit: Okay, I will try getting the information you need.

Uninstall everything (other mods, enbs) and see if the problem goes away. Nothing but TTW in your data folder. Unstalled, not unchecked in your load order in mod manager of choice.

System Specs: Windows 8, intel  i7 3770k CPU, 16GM RAM.

Mod Manager: Nexus Mod Manager ver. 0.49.3

Symptoms: Missing Textures from building, grounds, ect. Example in picture posted in original post.

I have already tried turning off and uninstalling ENBs to see if that was the problem. I have uninstalled any texture packs I used and that didn’t fix it either. I have also reinstalled TTW to try that.

I have the Fallout GOTY edition from steam. I can try getting any more info if necessary.

The load order is the most necessary part.

Sorry guys! I have found the problem while trying to uninstall mods that was recommended. It turns out it seems to be one of the destruction mods that is on the nexus site.

I should have checked more closely when I initially tried to troubleshoot the problem since the solution seems to be so simple. Thank you for your time and I appreciate trying to help me find a solution! If you guys still need a load order (or something) I will be happy to try finding them.

Once again thanks for the help!

Edit: Posted pic of Dukov's Place that seems to be all fixed.
