I have just bought and installed fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas and installed TTW(v2.4a) and even though the loading screen says Fallout: A tale of two wastelands (instead of saying Fallout: New Vegas) when i select a new game i wake up in doc mitchells office. before the game starts I see the intro for NV, then a loading screen and then the intro for FO3. I have no other mods installed besides the main TTW mods.
The load order I am using is
1. FalloutNV
2. DeadMoney
3.HonestHearts
4.OldWorldBlues
5.Lonesome Road
6. GunRunnersArsenal
7.CaravanPack
8. ClassicPack
9.MercenaryPack
10. TribalPack
11. Fallout3
12.Anchorage
13.ThePitt
14.BrokenSteel
15. PointLookout
16. Zeta
17. TaleofTwoWastelands
Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this?

It sounds like you did a manual installation. Did you make the INI changes that are listed on the Download page?
[quote]
You need to make an edit to your .INI file so that you start the game properly. This is normally done by the .fomod when it is installed.
-
The file you're looking for is C:\Users\YourName\Documents\My Games\FalloutNV\Fallout.ini
-
You may also want to make the changes in FalloutDefault.ini in the game folder as well, if you use the normal game launcher for some reason. Using that launcher overwrites Fallout.ini with the values in FalloutDefault.ini every time it's run.
-
Make these changes:
-
SCharGenQuest = 001FFFF8
-
sIntroMovie = (yes this one is blank on purpose, it needs to be blank)
-
bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles = 1

Sometimes even people doing an installation through NMM/FOMM are experiencing this issue. It's always a good idea to check both your Fallout.ini and Fallout_default.ini to make sure those values are correct if you are experiencing issues.

Ya, actually just had it happen to me, some reason steam messed with all the .INI files and I don't have the auto update on, works now after I manually went through, some reason stream didn't like the files it seemed? Maybe?

Just remember to never start the game using the Fallout New Vegas Launcher, always use the NVSE or fnv4GB with steam already on to bypass the launcher.
