I tried again to install the
I tried again to install the mod on my windows 8.1 computer and it still failed. I went through the steps with checking which of the .esms caused the no menu and it was the PointLookout.esm and TalesTwoWasteland.esm

@ Appletart,
@ Appletart,
if you havent tried already, you can attempt to re-generate those files using the TTW installer..
to do this simply remove the bsa and esm associated with the Point LookOut DLC that are in your TTW install folder. Then re run the TTW installer, using the same directory as the previous time. It will bypass all files that are already in that folder, and move on to the ones removed. Once done copy the newly generated files over to your nv data folder, and see if it worked.

Also I apologize to those who left a comment or question since my last post on this topic, I havent been online for a while.. If you're still having trouble let me know.
@ Everyone
I have edited the BSA Regeneration section of the tutorial/fix because I felt I didnt explain it well enough the first time around.

Just PL.esm. Having TTW.esm checked also loads PL.esm.

Ok, i'm running the rebuild for Point Lookout.bsa, i hope this works, i really want to play this mod again.
*First Rebuild attempted failed, trying again*
*Second attempt failed, what is so wrong with Point Lookout that the installer fails to patch it right?

I've discovered something
I've discovered something about my TTW Point Lookout Main.bsa, its like 400mb smaller than the Fallout 3 Point Lookout Main.bsa and when i try to follow the instructions about extracting it the FOMM crashes at the end and I can't interact with it. Should the TTW Point Lookout Main.bsa be 228.174kb?
New: I copied over my TTW Point Lookout Main.bsa (which is 237mb) from the previous version that worked on Windows 7 and overwrote the bsa that wasn't working and ran the game and the menu appeared with all .esms active. Would using the previous version of TTW's Point Lookout Main.bsa cause any issues with the current version?

Hey guys, I have the "no-menu
Hey guys, I have the "no-menu"-bug, too. Yesterday I decided to start up New Vegas after not playing it for two weeks. Started it like always, but the menu didn't show up, which was strange, because I haven't changed or installed any files since I last played it. Then I decided to make a clean install of New Vegas, downloaded the TTW-Installer again and ran it. After the (error-free) installation of TTW I activated the main files via FOMM and started New Vegas, but the problem persists, again no main menu. So I tried to follow this fix and realized that the menu only loads if there are no TTW-files active at all. Do you guys have any idea what could be wrong?

Are you leaving TTW.esm
Are you leaving TTW.esm checked when checking the files? I'm thinking you are - and that is loading the other files even if they're unchecked.

Thanks for the quick reply!
Thanks for the quick reply! And yes, I definitely had TTW.esm unchecked. Strangely, after reinstalling Steam (because of an issue unrelated to NV) and relocating my New Vegas folder, it seems to work. All the .esm's are checked and the menu loads after ~30 seconds after showing the main screen. It works now but it still somehow feels like the issue isn't fully fixed, especially because the main menu never took so long to load in the past.. Any ideas what could cause the delay or am I just being whiny?
