Bug report the pitt's Auto Axe issues

Post by Driftedspore » Thu Jul 31, 2014 12:25 am

I tried with and without my mods, and it seems that at first, when you use the Auto Axe, it disappears. when you re-equip it, it works okay in first person, but in 3rd, the blades aren't spinning. is this a known bug?

As far as I know there is no fix, and the problem is so strange that we have no idea how to actually fix it frown.

I'm like, 80% positive that this is an engine glitch. It might be in the auto axe attack animation, but it's far more likely that it's a Bethesda bug.

Either that or Obsidian modified the auto axe attack animation for the chainsaw, but I could've sworn that this happened on my 360 version of Fallout 3, so who knows.

And like, other stuff, I guess.

It's defiantly a vanilla bug! It can be reproduced in vanilla PC FO3.

Push.

Sorry, just felt like this should get pushed again since the issue still exists. No need for more threads.

Really annoying, especially since the Auto Axe is one of my fav weapons.

But yeah, the bug was already present in FO3 vanilla. Usually equipping, attacking, re-equipping, attacking - fixes it. Until the game gets reloaded I think. But the 3rd person attack animation + sound is bugged and not synced too. I cant remember this issue from FO3. Maybe thats a TTW only thing but I dont know. Actually I think even the first person attack animation isnt that great. Its made similar to the chainsaw animation but I always prefered the original FO3 1st person animation.
