Thank you. I'll try this out. I've started a new game, but I'll get the DofI to test it out and see if Sydney is fixed.

@Risewild - Is this in regards to starting in New Vegas as opposed to DC? I did forget to mention that during installation of 2.4a, the installation claims it successfully patched all the files (even Point Lookout) and made the FOMODs. However, NMM crashed twice applying the main fomod and still shows a red x. the optional fomod worked.  However, even though it crashed it appears to have installed TTW and all the files are there. I guess it didn't replace the fallout.ini file, as you say.

Yes, the game needs the ini files changed so it starts in vault 101. Also NMM is known to damage the fomod file and not manage to install TTW, but if it is working for you then that's good cool I hope problems don't appear later though.
