Help with low render distance

Post by platonicgryphon » Mon Mar 10, 2014 2:38 am

I have just exited vault 101 for the first time and I've come across a problem, the render distance and fog are very low. I am wondering if anybody knows of a fix? I've tried messing with the options in the launcher and disable mods that could effect this. The file shows what I'm talking about.

You could try adjusting the .ini file directly (Tweakguide) and/or using a mod that changes the graphics in-game (Imaginator).  As always, make a back up of anything you're about to change, just in case something gets screwed up.

What are your system specs? Are you adjusting the render distance or detail levels of things from the launcher? Double check that they aren't all at the lowest possible setting.

Isn't this an LOD issue? Along with what tricky said, post your install log and your load order as well for completeness, I guess.

Thanks. So it seems like you have LOD issues.

If you activated a .fomod, I suggest doing a manual install instead to make sure everything is installed correctly.
