About the old tree LOD problem...

Hello,


I've TTW 2.4a and I have traveled a lot in the wasteland. The trees are ok there but it seems that there are some cells in which the trees have the old problem of LOD not disappearing when you are close.


As example, near the VAULT 112 entrance (garage entrance) the tree seems to suffer from this problem. I've tried with a vanilla installation of TTW, waiting for three days in Megaton house, returning to the place and the problem persists...


I've tried again re-generating the tree LOD (all trees are over old ones of the same type so I don't think they have been deleted, so they should be regenerated) but no appearentoproblem persists even after three days in Megaton house with vanilla TTW...


Could it be a problem of my save game? I have to start a new game? I have to follow a particular procedure for tree LOD generation?


I followed this one:


0) deleted all LOD directories in data\meshes and data\textures;


1) made TGA version of the tree textures (including treedeadlod.dds) in source/textures TGA folder;


2) changed in a new esp the properties of the threes for which I have extracted the lod_flat.nif meshes from Fallout3-meshes.esm (the original one) to "has tree LOD" in order to have the lod generated;


3) loaded the esp in GECK and generated the LOD for world cells (I tried all the cells);


4) saved the esp, checked the LOD directories (were full) and loaded it at the end and started game.


After three days in Megaton house still the same problem.


Any idea?

I confirm, only TTW 2.4a newly installed, load order as installation manual from TTW, new game. LOD problem for all trees near vault 112 entrance. Also at least another place has problem (will update this post with all locations). No problem with original fo3. Will try if was also present in TTW 2.2...


Here are the locations with problem discovered at today:


1) Vault 112 entrance (near garage);


2) Jury Street Metro Station (see also the screenshot attached);


3) Paradise Falls, some trees inside (after Grouse) - TBC;
