BSOD

Post by mofka » Sat Jun 28, 2014 12:59 am

Got a strange problem.. I'm not sure if it's even TTW-related, but it started to happen after the installation and hasn't happened with any other game before, soo..

After installing TTW, I got this weird issue where my game would crash down after a few in-game seconds and jump to a BSOD, where it tells me "driver irql not less or equal" (and something about igdkmd64.sys or such) Has anyone encountered this problem before and knows how to fix it?

Yop!

Let's start with this: http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/read-asking-help

BSOD can be caused by a lot of things but i highly doubt that TTW could be one of these.

Something is telling me that the answer is contained in the question. enlightened

Video games are bad for you? That's what they said about rock'n'roll...

Install the latest drivers

Install the latest drivers for your video.

IRQ not less or equal is generally because of an unstable overclock or bad ram.

Exactly. Integrated Graphics drivers seems to be the problem here. ;)

That actually was the problem

That actually was the problem! Installed the latest driver (had to use a few tricks because of some stupid driver restriction from ASUS) and now it works like a charm!

Thanks a lot!
