Missing Lever to return to DC Wasteland

I must be blind, or stupid or something... I've combed the inside of the train from New Vegas to DC multiple times over and cannot for the life of me find the Lever that I'm supposed to interact with to head back to DC. I also searched the forums and haven't yielded anything other than someone having the same problem on the picture guide in the FAQ, which was back almost a year ago.

Edit: Yup just stupid. I've been convinced that I was in the right train this whole time and then I walked out of it and looked at the name on the location I'd entered: Broken Train Engine. This can be deleted or left up as a heads up to other people who find themselves in the same predicament, whichever.

there are multiple train cars, all connected, you may be in the wrong train car.

Yup, I put that in my edit, I failboated and got on the wrong train.
