Console command for all items added by mods

Post by a7r0ci7y » Sun Dec 20, 2015 2:43 am

I know testqaitems command teleports you to a room with allvanilla items. How would I go about accessing all items added by mods ? Is there a command for that?

well, i tell you what i'm

well, i tell you what i'm going to do here, i'm going to explain what happens when you use that command, then give you a suggestion on how you can possibly do what you want.

when you hit coc testqaitems, you're teleporting your character into a room that was made that has everything in it.  it's a room in the nv game that has no portals, so cocing is the only way in/out of it.  the devs put this room together to hold all the items to make qa testing easier.  there's actually a few qa rooms and dev rooms in the game for purposes just like this.  so, no, there's no "mod items" room unless someone builds one.

however, the Lutana NVSE plugin -- it's on nexus -- contains a console command "search" which allows you to search the game by strings and it puts up a list of everything that matches the string -- like the help command in skyrim.  if you don't know what all is in your mods, however, and that's what you want the items room for, your best bet is to load up your mods in xEdit and go through and find them in there.  you can use the search command in lutana to get the live formids for the items and then additem them to yourself to play around with.

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

And if neither of those is what you want, Item Browser was added back to nexus. It uses MCM to display a list of every item (of usable types) in game, sorted by plugin.
