quest bug: You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head (FO3)

For that quest, I accept the counter offer from Tenpenny, kill that ghoul (Mister Crowley) and talk to Tenpenny, I got the caps but the mission still active. I have turned off all mods and that glitch is still there.

When you said you turned off all mods... do you mean you had them active before and during the quest? Which mods?

That is a vanilla FO3 bug, not a TTW one.


You can complete that quest by getting the Power Armor from Fort Constantine.

I did replay the whole quest with all mods turn off (restart the whole game from vault 101 then coc to tenpenny tower). During the replay, I also noticed Millicent Wellington (in the tenpenny tower, a quest related NPC for the quest Tenpenny tower) has been disappeared in the game

I check the fallout3.esm by FNV edit, and her Form ID is 060156D8, but when I use the placeatme console command, it doesn't work..........

Try using the command: "prid

Try using the command: "prid 06017a0e" (or "prid 0a017a0e" if you are using the courier's Stash packs) and then the "moveto player" one.

Thanks, using the console command you recommend, I finally found that chick turns out dead OUTSIDE Tenpenny tower (in the capital wasteland)


So it seems there is a glitch on her position point and so she got killed by the harsh wasteland elements.....

when I player.moveto, she was found INSIDE the wall of the tower that is inaccessable unless I use the tcl command , and once I resurrect her, she will be in the capital wasteland just outside the wall........
