megaton error

So I started playing ttw again and everything was going fine until I entered megaton. I soon started seeing messed up textures, lucas simms had purple eyes, and there were red exclamations everywhere ill post my load order

1. you've got over 150 items

1. you've got over 150 items in your loadorder. you're getting into (or maybe beyond) the number of plugins where FNV starts weirding out. depending on the computer, that seems to happen around 120-140 plugins. you can start reducing your load order by uninstalling/deleting the inactive plugins. next, try merging some of the small esp's into one. there is a good tutorial for merging esp's in the [url=http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/38413]FNVEdit Training Manual[/url]


2. you have the TTW NVEC patch, since you're also running Project Nevada, try using the TTW NVEC PN Mega Patch. [url=http://www.taleoftwowastelands.com/comment/8556#comment-8556]d/l here[/url]from the same thread you got the TTW NVEC patch from


3. you need to have some kind of merged/bashed patch a the end of your loadorder.


4. did you try toggling Archive Invalidation (in NMM or FOMM) off, then back on?

i was counting the deactivated plugins also. they are still in your load order.  even though you got it working, for now, you should still try to consolidate as much as you can and keep as few entries as possible in your loadorder
