Crashing in Vault 101

I've done a completely clean install and again all I am running is the following:


FalloutNV.esm

DeadMoney.esm

HonestHearts.esm

OldWorldBlues.esm

LonesomeRoad.esm

GunRunnersArsenal.esm

Fallout3.esm

Anchorage.esm

ThePitt.esm

BrokenSteel.esm

PointLookout.esm

Zeta.esm

TaleOfTwoWastelands.esm

TTW_MoreCookingItems.esp

TTW_NoKarmaDCFollowers.esp

TTW_StashPackOptions.esp

TTW_Bobbleheads.esp


I can get past the part where I get the Pipboy at the party, so I don't think it is related to my particular crash. It crashes at the part where you're sitting on the surgical bench and "dad" is looking at you. Before you take the GOAT.  It does this even when I don't use the optional TTW.esps.


I was running such a light load order in order to get to just before you leave the cave outside Vault 101, then I was going to activate the other mods I want to use.  I'll give that save game a go, was it made using only the .esms required or was there other mods too?

You have stashpackoptions

You have stashpackoptions without the stash packs.


Try it without the rest of the ttw optional esp's as well.

Thanks for the reply.


Just tried it with all the optional ESPs minus the stash pack options, does the same thing.


I tried it before with none of the optional ESPs (starting a brand new game every time), and same crash at the same place.

You can call me out on stupid stuff I do, you know. I'm not some special snowflake. I obviously didn't read your post properly or I wouldn't have suggested you do something you have already done. FLAGRANT FAIL.


It is very strange that you are crashing in the med lab. AFAIK nothing is happening behind the scenes that could cause anything at all to go wrong.


Try a save game from just before or after you leave the vault. Don't add any mods, just run around and see if anything is out of place.


Other than that, you'll probably have to wait and see if the new version helps at all.
