That sounds like a god idea, unfortunatly, I can't test it because the mod that was making it so that I finish OA requires them for no reason that I can imagine.

Some of us are unable to finish the Anchorage simulation for some reason, so we use a fix like the one from this thread. But for some reason, that fix also require all of the courier stash DLCs. I think there's another fix for the same problem somewhere else on the site, just have to find it.

Some of the Weapon Mod Expand use the Courier stash DLCs but I can turn those off with no problem.

So if the crap packs are

Post by TJ » Sat Jul 06, 2013 11:18 am

So if the crap packs are trying to re-add their gear after completion of the sim they would need their scripts modified to check if you're actually at the beginning of the game or not. Are any of you removing then re-adding them? I only ask because they have a start enabled quest that fires a script. Script should add the items, then complete the quest, and they shouldn't be doing ANYTHING after the quest is stopped. I haven't even looked at those packs since they became optional, so I could be wrong..

I made sure to check if those

Post by Niar26 » Sat Jul 06, 2013 6:57 pm

I made sure to check if those pacs were causing the game to crash for me when leaving the sim and they did indeed.

As far as i'm concerned, it might just be a conflicting script or something similar...

THIS is what was causing the game to crash for me, but it's not sure if it will fix for others... Because i'm havimng a large amount of mods, that may be causing this issue with the packs.

Are you sure it's the crap

Post by plumjuice » Sat Jul 06, 2013 9:51 pm

Are you sure it's the crap packs? Unless one of the mods you have alters the script, it runs only once (iirc). Just once. I would suggest you check to see if any of your mods alter the packs in any way before laying the blame at the innocuous (if rather useless) crap packs.

I usually suggest a having a clean TTW install as well if you run a modded one to test for things like this, but I've also never been a fan of typing just to hear my keyboard rattle.

I suggest a clean install of ttw alongside a modded one to test things like this.

I have a laptop. My keys don't rattle, they click.

Clean install, no mods except

Post by Niar26 » Sun Jul 07, 2013 12:43 am

Clean install, no mods except official dlcs plus TTW optional esps and courier stashes.

Went right to the Anchorage dlc, did it in like 10 mins ( full tgm and tcl mode for speed).

Crash when leaving the simulation.. Disabled the courier stash, and the problem went away.

Seems like it's it that is causing the issue to me?

PS: I tried two different things, the courier stash dlc first. Then disabled it and enabled the 4 packs, same again. It crashes if just one of it is enabled.

PPS: Just noticed something now, for some reason, it DIDN'T crash with the packs , and when i left the simulation, i actually didn't have the armor i should have been supposed to wear anymore.

Might it be that the actual armor that you need to have is not equipping and causes the crash, the main trouble?
