Question here. Your post says that the game should play like Fallout 3. When I run it looks like Fallout NV but it says TTW. However, I just started a game and wanted to change wastelands, but I started in Nevada. Help :)

you need to make some .ini changes! Look at the Alpha Download page and the steps for manual install. if your seeing the TTW logo on the start screen TTW is working but, without the correct .ini changes you'll start in NV.

There is also a mod by thermador which will let you choose which wasteland you would like to start in called "start In DC or NV" although you still need to make the .ini changes!

I installed the fix, but I'm still seeing the rubble. I saved in Columbus square, activated it, then went back to Pens/Mall station, and only saw rubble, even when I noclipped through it. I am using 2.4

The activator is contained in another cell. Go back out into The Mall world and re-enter Penn. Ave./The Mall Metro from there.

I went to Columbus circle, I fast travelled to the archives, and I got to the metal gate entrance to Penn. Ave./The Mall Metro, I went inside, still rubble.

Edit: By it's in another cell, should there be another door besides the Judiciary Metro door?

Edit 2:Tricky Vein sorted it out in chat, thanks!

Wait, what? Reading through

Wait, what? Reading through these comments, apparently Columbus Circle is the station! I thought I'd taken a wrong turn and ended up somewhere inside dc! I had no idea that was the station area, so I went back into the metro and looked around some more for the train.

Wow, when I confuse a modded area for a vanilla one, you know you've done a good job.

Heh, I did the same thing the first time I went to the new stations.  "Columbus Circle? No there must have been a door back there somewhere."  I actually spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to find the new stations...

Yeah, I actually recognized

Post by Darian Stephens » Mon Mar 10, 2014 4:50 pm

Yeah, I actually recognized the area to the train as a place I'd been to before, earlier in my savegame, and had no idea that the train was anywhere near there.

I also didn't think of the Union Station's doors as doors, they just looked too different. I had to use the pipboy local map to find the way in, but after that I had no trouble with the doors.

I'll go out of my way and say

Post by chucksteel » Thu Mar 20, 2014 10:41 am

I'll go out of my way and say your running too many mods or you totally nerfed the install. there is no missing texture pack as the meshes and texture are in the TTW bsa.
