I used the save there but it crashes when I leave the vault now.

Have you tried playing with no mods on? Disable all of them. Try a save of your own, or try chucksteel's save.

rydr, try disabling the mods from "directors chair" up to "CINEMATECH".


As of now, you shouldn't have any mods enabled until you reach the CW. Just to see how smooth things will go.
