i'd hate to bring this up again but im having a similar issue again but after activating the water purifier. after the end game cutscene im stuck hasselhoffing.

That's great.

...duplicate an existing child race and tell it that its Adult version is your custom race and tell your custom race that its child version is the duplicate you just created

You can still do this for the custom race that you're using.
