I'm chipping in here too, but with a sparkle of hope. This is a reoccurring problem with BSAOpt in several versions of windows XP, and it even seems to affect the Linux Simulation software for windows: Wine. They have posted posted a bug-report, and a link to a 'patch' for wine to fix the problem.

I don't know anything about this patch, or even if it works, but if it does work, it could help solve the problem for all of us.

it's because you experimental BSAOpt produces slightly different BSAs than the one I have bundled currently, so there are no patches for the BSAs it produces.
