Sorry to revive the thread

Post by mudora » Mon Apr 08, 2013 1:11 am

Sorry to revive the thread but can anyone upload a savegame after you wake up and need escape from the vault?. I still with the problem on the new 2.0 version and a fresh install. So the old savegames doesn't work more and need one compatible with this.

PD: No mods installed. Just the required dlcs.

Thank you very much!.

Will work on this, check here soon and I should have some saves.

EDIT:

Here are some saves:

NOTE: A couple of notes, this saves use no mods or optional TTW files and have no stuff packs active (so not to scare users that don't have them enabled with the message that relies on stuff not present ), this saves have the default face, gender, name; use random skill tags and have no traits picked so DO NOT FORGET TO CUSTOMIZE YOUR CHARACTER ONCE YOU GO INTO THE WORLD FOR THE FIRST TIME! Also none of the saves contain the medicine bobblehead in the inventory EXCEPT the one right before getting out into the world for the first time (this is because I didn't have time to check if the optional TTW bobbleheads file changes are retroactive but I think they are not, SO IF YOU WANT TO USE THE OPTIONAL TTW BOBBLEHEAD FILE YOU SHOULD USE ANY SAVE EXCEPT FOR THE ONE THAT SAYS "After Vault 101..." IN IT'S DESCRIPTION)

That is all, hope it helps .

You said it happens even without mods, so the only thing that I notice out of that load order is the caravanpack.esm should be before the classicalpack.esm. Not sure if this would fix it but anyway that one is out of order cheeky.

I got it working without mods, just had a brain fart and realized something was still running.  Narrowed it down to something with lings and I have disabled the "Lings Pretty Things.esp" and  "Lings Pretty Things-BrokenSteel.esp."

I'll try to figure it out tomorrow.

with those plugins it's master has the lingsfinerthings.esp, get rid of it or it will cause CTD's, Only use the updated esm/esp in the link provided above.

AFAIK Mod "A Familiar Friend - The Pip-Boy 2500 - Handheld Pipboy" causes CTD on nine year transition.

we suggest you don't use mods before finishing the tutorial, even in vanilla FO3 the tutorial could be very unstable with mods.
